Dear Community, Belmont Library will temporarily close next month to undergo an exciting renovation, including fresh paint, new flooring, furniture and improved technology. Library Closure Begins March 19 To make these improvements happen, Belmont Library will temporarily close for a few months beginning Wednesday, March 19. Programming Continues at Nearby Locations - Storytime and many other events will continue at nearby community locations. Make sure to check our events calendar for the most up-to-date program information.
- Middle and high school students are welcomed to the Barrett Community Center for an after-school homework and hangout space.
- For full library service during the renovation project, we invite you to visit our nearby San Carlos Library.
Holds and Library Materials - Holds will be available for pick-up at Belmont Library until Tuesday, March 18. After that, any unclaimed holds will be mailed to the address on record. You can also choose to have future holds mailed to you or pick them up at another library.
- The book drop will be closed during the renovation, but materials can be returned to any San Mateo County Libraries location.
- If you have items due after the closure begins, their due date will be extended until the library reopens.
