An Evening with Author Amy Hatvany

Amy Hatvany graduated with a degree in Sociology only to discover most sociologists are unemployed. After a variety of jobs, she finally decided to sell her car, quit her job, and take a chance on her passion: writing books. She is the author of Best Kept Secret, Outside the Lines (a Target book club pick for 2012 and a Costco's Buyer's pick), and The Language of Sisters.

In her most recent book, Heart Like Mine, Hatvany writes about the tangled web of family in a way that makes you laugh, cry, cheer and ache. A reception will precede the author’s presentation courtesy of the Friends of the Belmont Library, and a book selling and signing will follow, organized by Books, Inc.
