Last Spring I had the chance to play with some electronic devices in the hopes of becoming better able to help our public with their eBook needs. Shortly after playing with the iPad, I took my tax refund down to the Apple Store
and bought what we now call an iPad2. I've been having fun ever since.
The store offers workshops to help you get more out of your purchase, but there are other resources available to help you get even more. There are many electronic resources available through our webpage. A couple that looked intriguing were The iPad Project Book: Stuff You Can Do With Your iPad and Sam’s Teach Yourself iPad in 10 Minutes. Another one that might prove useful is How to Make Money Marketing Your iPad & iPhone Apps. I hate to totally neglect paper and ink so here's the link to iPad 2 for Dummies.
As you might imagine there is an iPad Users' Group. For a truly unique experience, however, stop by Foster City Library on Wednesday April 25th or Half Moon Bay Library on Thursday April 26th to enjoy a visit from the OverDrive Digital Bookmobile. Bring your iPad or other digital device and explore the possibilities.
