By second and third
grade your child is mastering the skill of reading
and as with any new skill is probably eager to
show it off. This is an excellent opportunity
to encourage him by asking him to read to you
and his younger siblings or friends. Whatever
his skill level your praise and encouragement
is key. This is a time also when a new reader
may expand his reading selections to include
books
about subjects he is interested in, learning
that not all books are stories.
Below
is a sample of our selections. If you don't find what you want, please ask us
to help you, in person or online by email.
