Kindergarten is an exciting time for the budding reader. It is the time when many children master the alphabet and learn to identify the sounds of letters. For some, Kindergarten is the first group learning experience. Working side by side other children can be a great motivator toward reading. Reading on her own or reading and listening to stories with other children and adults, it's all part of her continuing adventure with words and imagination.
