ONLINE LIBRARY CARD APPLICATION

If you live anywhere in San Mateo County, applying for a library card is as simple as filling out the below form and clicking 'Sign Me Up'. You will receive your card in the mail or get a confirmation when your library card is ready to be picked up. (This may take up to 3 business days.) If you live outside of San Mateo County but in California, you may get a card by coming into any San Mateo County Library.

You must show a photo I.D. with proof of current California residence when you first use or pick up the card. If you are under 18, you will need a guardian's signature.
