A popular search engine is Google.
How Google is organized:
Google Menu Bar: A group of five
tabs above the search box that will
focus your search to particular parts
of the World Wide Web.
- Web This is the first of the tabs. It
is highlighted because it is the
default search. Unless you choose
another tab, your search will
automatically scan the entire web.
- Images The second tab restricts
your search to pictures.
- Groups The third tab restricts your
search to newsgroups.
- Directory The fourth tab connects
you to a subject directory where you
can browse by broad themes.
- News The last tab restricts your
search to news articles from the last
30 days.
