Directions

HIGHWAY 280 (traveling North or South): Take the Edgewood Road East exit and drive east to Alameda de las Pulgas. Turn left at the Alameda, and at Brittan, turn right. Turn left onto Elm Street. Cross the intersection of Elm and Cherry and on the left hand side of the Elm, you will see a sign that reads "Civic Center." Turn left at the sign into the parking lot. The library is straight ahead.

HIGHWAY 101 (traveling North or South): Take the Holly St. West exit. Drive across El Camino Real and at Elm Street, turn left. Cross San Carlos and almost at the end of the block, you will see a sign "Civic Center" on the right hand side of the road. Turn right into the parking lot and the library is straight ahead.

El Camino Real (traveling North or South): At San Carlos Ave., turn west (northbound travelers turn left; southbound travelers turn right). Go three blocks up San Carlos Avenue and take a left onto Elm. The library is at the end of the block on the right.

BUS ROUTE: Take any north-or southbound traveling bus on El Camino and get off at the San Carlos CalTrain station. Ask for a transfer for Bus 261 which travels up San Carlos Avenue three blocks and then down Elm. Get off at the Civic Center which is a t Elm and Cherry and the library is on your right. Call 1-800-660-4BUS for schedules and routes as not all buses run everyday.

PARKING AVAILABILITY: Above ground parking is available of Elm Street in front of the library. Underground parking allows access to the library from either Cherry or Chestnut Streets.
