Directions

HIGHWAY 101 (traveling North or South): Take the Hillsdale/Foster City exit heading east (northbound travelers exit right; southbound travelers exit left). Proceed on Hillsdale Blvd., heading east until you reach Shell Blvd. The library is located at the corner of Hillsdale and Shell Blvd.

HIGHWAY 280 (traveling North or South): Take the HWY 92 junction heading east toward HWY 101. Drive south on HWY 101, and exit at Hillsdale/Foster City Blvd. heading east until you reach Shell Blvd. The library is located at the corner of Hillsdale and Shell Blvd.

HIGHWAY 880 (traveling North or South): Take the San Mateo Bridge Exit (toll payment required) and then take the E. Hillsdale Blvd/Foster City Blvd exit.   Veer to your right on Chess Dr. and bear right Foster City Blvd.  Bear right on Metro Center Blvd.   Turn left onto Shell Ave.   The library is located at the corner of E. Hillsdale and Shell Blvd. 

BUS ROUTE: The following SamTrans Bus Lines serve Foster City--251 & 54. Please call 1-800-660-4BUS for routes and schedules as not all buses run every day.

PARKING: Although there is no parking available on the street, there is adequate parking in the lot in front of the library.
