Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Mary McLaughlin has been performing, teaching writing and recording original and traditional songs (in both English and Gaelic) for many years.
Mary's latest recording, Crystal Shoe (2004) not only showcases her songwriting and lavish vocals but also features such musical luminaries as Radim Zenkl and Robin Bullock.
Critics have written, “This Bay Area Irish-language teacher is simply the best Celtic singer today.”
Harpist Steve Coulter will accompany Mary.
