Too Busy to Cook? Try a Slow Cooker!
Over the holidays, my mom got me a slow cooker, and I love it!
I throw everything in before work, turn it on, and when I come home, my apartment is filled with a yummy smell and I have a delicious meal waiting for me.
If you're looking for a good recipe to try, check out a cookbook from the library. We have books on vegetarian slow cooking, Italian slow cooking like The Italian Slow Cooker by Michele Scicolone, family slow cooking, and healthy slow cooking, to name a few.
Or Make a Crockpot Standard
You can also make great soups and stews in your slow cooker, perfect for a rainy day!
