Movie night graphicFor the Family--Bring Your Friends

Did you know the Atherton Library has free movie nights each month? We show family films the last Friday of each month at 7 pm (excluding November and December), as well as other movies throughout the year. Check library events on the Atherton Branch Page, or call the library at 650.328.2422.

Karate on the 21st

On our January 21st Movie Night, we will feature the new Karate Kid film, featuring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith (140 minutes long, rated PG). Work causes a single mother to move to China with her young son. In his new home, the boy embraces kung fu, taught to him by a master.

The Family Feature on January 28th will be Toy Story 3 (102 minutes, rated G). A Pixar animated favorite, the toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college. It's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return everyone home.

Scheduled Showings

Other films to be shown in 2011 include Ramona and Beezus, How to Train Your Dragon, and Despicable Me.
