Friday Night Lights: The Final Season is @ Your Library!!

Friday Night Lights Season FiveI have been patiently waiting for the fifth and final season of Friday Night Lights to air on NBC all winter. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it was being released on DVD last week. All you FNL fans are in luck . . . the library already has copies available for holds!

My hold came in yesterday and I watched the first three episodes as soon as I got home from work last night.

Fast or Slow?

I’m torn though. Part of me wants to sit down and watch the remaining ten episodes in one shot to see what happens and how it ends. The other part of me knows this is the last time I’ll ever get to watch new episodes and is much more tempted to savor each episode over say a week rather than a night.

I know I’ll be sad when that final episode ends. Friday Night Lights  is such a fantastic show and I wish it would continue for many more seasons!

But Don't Say Goodbye to the Actors

OK, so once you watch the fifth season, where can you watch all your favorite characters?

  • Lyla- Minka Kelly has been making guest appearances on another one of my favorite TV shows, Parenthood.
  • Vince- Michael B. Jordan is also on Parenthood this season!
  • Tim- Taylor Kitsch can be seen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine
  • Matt- Catch Zach Gilford every week on Off the Map! He also appeared in Post Grad last year.
  • Jason- Scott Porter is currently on The Good Wife every week. You can also catch him in The Good Guy and Dear John.
  • Coach Taylor- Catch Kyle Chandler on old episodes of Grey’s Anatomy!
