Where education meets entertainment, Didgeridoo Down Under is a show that uses the Australian instrument to pull together lessons about geography, nature, culture, diversity and ecology. The didgeridoo is a traditional instrument which has been played by Australia’s Aborigine population for at least 1500 years. This is a truly unique family program of fun and learning.

Bones and Owl Pellet Dissection for Teens

Students will learn about the function of a spine through examining various animal backbones, highlighting the structural differences between carnivores and herbivores. Students will also dissect an owl pellet, picking out bones and trying to assemble a rodent skeleton.​

For youth in 5th-9th grades. Prior signup is required on a class-by-class basis, and can be accomplished by calling or visiting the library six days prior to each workshop.
