Conservatorship Basics For Elders

When a family member or close friend can no longer properly provide for personal needs or manage finances, and because of mental or physical impairment, is no longer capable of legally appointing others to act in their behalf, a conservatorship may be the only way.  This talk will explain when conservatorships are appropriate and what it takes to get them, including a brief overview of the court proceedings, forms, and available library and legal resources.
