Each session includes playtime, crafts, singing, and reading facilitated by library staff and child development specialists. THIS PROGRAM IS BILINGUAL. Each week focuses on a different theme. Join us at the San Carlos Library for our four-week Creative Writing Workshop. Build characters, write poems, create short stories, and learn to conquer the dreaded writer's block. Come prepared to talk about your favorite writers with like-minded teens, play some writing games, and most of all: write your heart out! For grades 5 and up. On exhibit from November 2012-May 2013 at the Asian Art Museum is a collection of some of the finest batik textiles in existence. Batik is an artistic tradition of the Indonesian island of Java.
