Her parents came to San Francisco from Chile when she was a child and it was through letters that she stayed connected to her family. With texting and emailing this truly personal art seems to be in decline. We will discuss letter writing history, styles, famous love letters and the possible resurgence of this art thanks to television shows such as Downton Abbey. |
