Out Of Character: Decoding Chinese Calligraphy

Docent lecture will explore the tradition, creativity and self expression of Chinese Calligraphy on exhibit at the Asian Art Museum, October 5, 2012 through January 13, 2013. The exhibit will feature 50 works of calligraphy and pieces by contemporary American artists whose work has been linked to calligraphy, plus a multi-media piece commissioned for the exhibition.
