Enjoy a ZUMBA fitness class designed just for teens! This class combines easy-to-learn ZUMBA dance routines with popular, energetic music! Learn salsa, cumbia, merengue and reggaeton moves while improving flexibility and strength! For ages 13-19. Space is limited. Sign-up for individual classes by calling (650) 591-8286. Liability forms must be filled out by parent/guardian for teens under 18, prior to class. Forms are available at the library.

Docent lecture will explore the tradition, creativity and self expression of Chinese Calligraphy on exhibit at the Asian Art Museum, October 5, 2012 through January 13, 2013. The exhibit will feature 50 works of calligraphy and pieces by contemporary American artists whose work has been linked to calligraphy, plus a multi-media piece commissioned for the exhibition.
