You'll want to raid your own recycling bin to make more for all your friends. Peopleologie focuses on people, places, traditions, lives, and practices. Workshops treat participants to an inside look at ancient and contemporary indigenous life and the preservation of cultural heritage around the world.

Description: Follow the process from cotton boll to cloth and from sheep to sweater. It’s all about fibers, from start to finish. How many threads are you wearing? Where do they come from, and how do they stick together? How is cloth made? Learn all about the oldest methods known to human beings for staying warm and cool! This workshop will take place over 3 consecutive weeks. We will be creating something wonderful. Attendance to all 3 is recommended but not required.

This centuries old Asian exercise builds stronger bodies, better balance, a sharper mind, and is a great stress reliever. Instructor Ben Dineen leads this 60 minute class, which is open to all ability levels. Program is generously funded by The Friends of Woodside Library.

Medicare 2015: Are you Ready For Medicare?

Description: Come and get a general overview of Medicare and what you need to know about it. The Medicare Annual Election Period takes place October 15 to December 7, and allows seniors to buy a prescription drug plan or change their existing plan. Counselors will provide an introduction to Medicare Part D options and assist participants with finding a plan that meets their individual needs.
