This docent lecture will trace the impact of ancient, Pre-Islamic trade routes and pilgrimage roads stretching from Yemen in the south to Iraq and Mediterranean cultures in the north.

Advance Health Care Directives & Durable Power Of Attorney For Finances

Description: Anyone may, at some time, need another to make their health or personal care decisions or manage their financial affairs. The advance health care directive (AHCD) and the durable power of attorney for financial management (DPOA) are the easiest and least expensive ways to give another the legal means to make your wishes known when you can't. This talk will explain online and library resources to create an AHCD and a DPOA so a trusted nominee can act in the event of incapacity without the expense and hassle of going to court to get a conservatorship.
