Taiwanese Hand Puppet Fantasy Show

Description: Foster City Library has invited Chiao Wan Jan Puppet Troupe from Taiwan to come to our library. The troupe is formed entirely by students of Taipei Pingdeng Elementary School and they have traveled to perform in Japan and many other countries. They will be on tour in the Bay Area this summer, and Foster City Library is proud to be one of the locations. The troupe will bring their famous hand puppet fantasy show of Chinese folklore to our audiences. *This is a Mandarin language performance*

Description: In the final films in our throwback summer series, teenage twin girls meet for the first time at camp and swap places in a scheme to reunite their divorced parents. The classic 1961 film will start at 1:00pm and runs just over two hours. The 1998 remake, starring Lindsay Lohan, will start at 3:30pm and will end near 6pm. Everyone welcome. Free popcorn.
