Seduction: Japan’s Floating World Docent Lecture

This Docent Lecture will feature paintings and woodblock prints that are juxtaposed with textiles, ceramics, lacquers and other daily-life objects from the Edo period (1915 – 1868). On exhibit at the Asian Art Museum from February 20 to May 10.

The costume treasures which have inspired the slide talk are on exhibit at the Legion of Honor from March 14 through July 19th, 2015.
