An Afternoon with Author Barbara Anderson

Event Type: Author Program
Date:
Sunday, 03/22/15 at 2:00 pm
Library: San Carlos
Ages: Adults
Description: Barbara Anderson, author of Letters from the Way, walked 600 miles on the GR 653, from Arles, France to Puente la Reina, Spain. At first she wrote letters to her family, and a few close friends. By the end of her walk, she was writing to more than fifty people. The letters are her reflections along the way. They are musings about the weather and fellow pilgrims, about vultures and butterflies, about lessons to learn and spiritual questions to answer. If you are wondering what it would be like to set out on your own and take a very long walk, come and hear her speak.
