Movie Night: The Last Train from Bay Meadows

The Brisbane Library Bay Area Fimmakers Series presents The Last Train from Bay Meadows, an up-close, personal and historical behind-the-scenes perspective of Bay Meadows Race Track and its eventual closure. Many legendary horses, including Seabiscuit, ran at Bay Meadows and Russell Baze, the world's all-time winningest jockey, plied his trade there for many years. A discussion with filmmaker Jon Rubin follows the screening. This presentation is free and appropriate for all ages.
