Need a Recommendation? A CD to Listen To? A Movie to Watch?
A few of us at the Millbrae Library participate in a staff picks area, recommending library materials that we like, and that others might enjoy.
Some current examples include the book What Women Want (staff member S.W.), the eponymous albums Bucky Covington (K.M.) and Santogold (T.M.), and the mind-blowing CD Timeless, by Michael Bolton (A.L.).
In the accompanying clip, staff member K.R. talks about his three picks:
- the album Volta by Bjork,
- the book Kafka on the Shore by the Haruki Murakami,
- and a wonderful Royal Shakespeare Company production of King Lear.
You'll be amazed by our exquisite taste when you browse our selections.
