An Evening with Authors Emma McLaughlin & Nicola Kraus
Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus launched their careers with spectacularly successful Nanny Diaries. Both are former nannies, and the book satirizes upper class Manhattan society as seen through the eyes of their children's caregivers. The New York Times bestselling novel was made into a film starring Scarlett Johansson, Paul Giamatti, and Laura Linney.
Since the release of The Nanny Diaries, McLaughlin and Kraus have teamed up on Citizen Girl, Dedication, Nanny Returns, and the soon to be released Between You & Me, in which they explore the dark side of fame, providing an empathetic back-story to the sorts of salacious tales readers see in the tabloids.
