DIG IT: Digital Short Movie Porject for Teens

SMCL offers movie making resources to teens.

  • Check out HD cameras, microphones, lights, green screens and more.
  • Edit your movie at the library using Final Cut Pro on an iMac.
  • Take filmmaking workshops taught by college professors or local professionals (check back for dates).

These tools are available for FREE at the Belmont, Half Moon Bay and San Carlos libraries.

All San Mateo County teens are welcome to take advantage of these resources by taking part in the below two contests.

Ever wanted to make a movie?! Now’s your chance! Create a film of any genre to submit to the 8th Annual SMCL Teen Film Festival!
