Conservatorship Basics For Elders


A conservatorship may be the only way when a family member or close friend can no longer properly provide for personal needs or manage finances, or because of mental or physical impairment, is incapable of legally appointing others to act in their behalf.  This talk will explain when conservatorships are appropriate and what it takes to get them, including a brief overview of the court proceedings, forms, and available library and legal resources.
