Digital Media Workshop

Image:

Fresh Takes of Redwood City brings us an amazing 4 hour workshop for teens (ages 13-18) to learn how to "read" media as well as how to "decode" it's messaging.

This workshop starts by asking the following questions; what is media, who makes it, how does it affect my community, the greater society, and me? By the end of the workshop students will have gone through the 3 stages of video production as well as enhanced their Critical 21st Century Skills. Equipment that will be used includes up to 4 HD Pro-Sumer JVC Cameras w/tri-pods & microphones, one green screen, small monitor for playback, up to 4 laptops for editing, cables for monitor playback.
