The Birds of San Mateo County

Sequoia Audubon Society logo.Winter is here, and with it come all kinds of migratory birds passing through the Bay Area. It’s a great time to see some avian visitors, but also to observe our year-round residents. Sue and Bob Cossins of the local Sequoia Audubon Society  will introduce us to a variety of feathered locals with their presentation, “The Birds of San Mateo County.”

The slideshow and talk will be presented at two libraries, and each will be followed by a field trip (weather permitting). Whether you are an experienced birder or just want to see what a Marbled Godwit looks like, join us for one of these special presentations. If you have a scope or pair of binoculars, bring them along.
