Reading eBooks On Your iPad?

Photo of eBook on iPad by mikebairdHave you been waiting for the chance to download library ebooks to your iPad? Good news—the OverDrive Media Console app, which is optimized for iPads, has recently been released. Use the app to browse and wirelessly download bestselling ebooks and audiobooks from the Peninsula Library System Digital Library collection to your iPad.

Free App

The free app is available in the App Store, and can be installed on Apple devices running iOS v4.0 (or newer).
Once you’ve downloaded the app, find the Peninsula Library System using the app’s “Get Books” feature, then browse for titles, check them out with your library card, and download them directly to the iPad.

Free, And No Late Fees!

Features include the ability to customize your eBook reading experience with brightness and text-size controls and create bookmarks. The app also supports landscape and portrait orientation and a calendar icon displays the number of days left until the title expires. The eBook and audiobook titles from the library automatically expire in the app, so no late fees!
