New Book Club Forming–On the Telephone!

Man on phone reading book. The Foster City Library is exploring the idea of forming a book discussion group that would meet monthly via a telephone conference call. The Friends of the Foster City Library have generously agreed to sponsor this program.

Effortless and Free

The conference call system is very easy to use—just dial an 800 number at the scheduled time, enter a pin code, and you are in.

Stimulating Conversation from the Comfort of Home (Or Anywhere)

Would you--or someone you know--enjoy discussing a book without having to leave home?

Perhaps you are homebound or are caring for someone at home. Perhaps you don’t enjoy driving at night or are more comfortable talking on the phone than in a group setting.

Join Today

If you know someone who would be interested in discussing this idea, please invite them to join the conversation by signing up at the Foster City main desk or calling 650.574.4842 x227.

We're looking forward to the dialogue.
