The Millbrae Library will be hosting a demonstration of Mango Languages, a free online language learning system, on Thursday May 27 at 6:30pm.

Mango Languages is available free of charge to anyone with a San Mateo County library card. Because it is completely web-based, library users can learn anywhere they have an internet connection--at the library, a coffee shop, or the comfort of their own home.

Two levels of instruction are offered: Mango Basic, for those who need just a few words or phrases for an upcoming trip, and Mango Complete, for those who want to achieve greater fluency and skill.
Mango Basic currently provides instruction in 22 languages, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Russian, and many more.
In addition, there are English as a Second Language courses for 15 different languages.
The free demonstration at the Millbrae Library will cover everything you need to know to get started learning a new language with Mango Languages. You can access Mango Languages from our Research page.
