We’re excited to share that our new bookmobile has hit the road!
San Mateo County Libraries has provided bookmobile services to our communities since 1953. As our communities have grown and technology has evolved, so has our Bookmobile! Each new vehicle has built on the legacy of those before it, helping us reach more people and adapt to changing community needs.
Bookmobile visits allow us to engage with our communities outside of our library building, we bring innovative programming to schools, neighborhood events and more, to ensure all residents of San Mateo County are lifelong library users.
During a visit to the Bookmobile, you will get to explore our collection for children and adults, including new movies and books, WiFi hotspots, Spanish language materials and other popular items.
